C172 Skyhawk

The Cessna 172 Skyhawk is one of the safest aircraft ever built in the history of aviation.  It is easy to fly, stable, economical, and carries up to four passengers and baggage.  Our 172's are IFR rated and are used a lot for students and renters alike.  The fuel burn is 8-9 gal/hr with true airspeeds from 100 – 118 knots depending on altitude.  It has a range of approximately 6 hours of flight time.  The current rental price is $109/hr dry (without fuel).

Site-seeing flights

Hawk Aviation provides local site-seeing flights which take in all of the grandeur of the fall colors and spring blooms.   Many times, our passengers will bring along professional cameras and snap pictures of their homes, lake homes, or just local events such as high school sports, etc.
